“From ’Urwah, from his father, from Aaishah, may Allaah be pleased with her, who said, ‘By Allaah! A month would pass by the family of Muhammad ﷺ and no bread would be made in it.’ He said, ‘I said, ‘O Mother of the Believers! So what would the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ eat?’’ She said, ‘We used to have some neighbours from the Ansaar, may Allaah reward them with good, who used to have some laban from which they would give some to Allaah’s Messenger ﷺ.’”
