“… Ayyub ibn Suwaid narrated from Ibn Shawdhab who said, ‘When Yusuf عليه السلام was thrown into the well, he said:

حَسْبِيَ اللهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيْل
‘Allaah is sufficient for me! And He is the Best Disposer of Affairs.’

—and the water had been putrid but became pure, salty but then became sweet.’”
