Gifts of Knowledge

“His son ʿAbdul-Jalīl told me that whenever some scholars or students of knowledge would ask him for advice he would say:

عليكم بنشر السنة، وتدريس الكتب الستة، ليل نهار
“You must spread the Sunnah, and teach the six books, night and day.”
