Uthaimeen on How One Should Feel When Performing a Righteous Act

Shaikh Uthaimeen, may Allaah have mercy on him, said, “Would that every time we performed a legislated act we felt that we were imitating Allaah’s Messenger, sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam, and his noble Companions, for indeed there is no doubt that [by doing so] a person will find a powerful impetus in his heart which will make him associate with the behaviour of the Salaf as-Saalih, thus becoming a Salafi in creed, actions, manners and methodology.”
