Uthaimeen on Visiting the Sick

Shaikh Uthaimeen, may Allaah have mercy on him said, “Along with the fact that visiting a sick person is a fulfilment of the rights a Muslim has over his brother, it also brings about affection and closeness which none except someone who becomes sick and who is then visited by his brothers can perceive, for he finds [a feeling of] great love for those people who visited him and you will find that he tastes it and speaks about it amply. So along with the reward it entails, it establishes closeness amongst the Muslims.”
