Since the devils are out trying to reject hadith and belittle the status of the Sunnah in Islaam, I thought I’d put out Shaikh Muhammad Amaan al-Jaami’s refutation of such foolish claims and people. This is the first part of his book called, Manzilatus-Sunnah fit-Tashreeʿ al-Islaami.

Shaikh Muhammad Amaan al-Jaami’s refutation of the Hadith Rejectors

He said, “The Messages from the Heavens that Allaah entrusted His chosen Messengers from mankind with form the link between the heavens and earth. These messages were united in their fundamental principles, since the first thing they all called to was, “Worship Allaah—you have no other god except Him.” [7:59] Yet they varied or differed in their specific laws and methodologies since each messenger was sent to his own people in particular, in their own language, with a specific methodology [manhaj] and with a particular, limited legislation for them. This remained the case for a long period of time due to a wisdom known to our Lord سبحانه.

And so when Allaah wanted to bring His message to the people of the earth to its conclusion, He selected from among His servants His Chosen Prophet and His Favoured Messenger, Muhammad ibn Abdillaah, the Arab, Hāshimite Prophet, to send him to all of mankind [i.e., not just to his own people as with the Messengers before him].  And indeed Allaah created him for this purpose and gave him a special upbringing, bestowed His care upon him, and nurtured him, giving him the finest upbringing ﷺ.

And after various [stages of] preparation and miraculous signs [that heralded what was to come] which he went through during his childhood and youth ﷺ, Allaah then sent him to all of the people and revealed to him His final Book, after which there would be no other—the Noble Quran, Allaah’s Book which stands as the supreme authority over all the Books that preceded it, describing it as a Book that, “… cannot be proven false from any angle.” [41:42] Through it, Allaah guides those who seek His pleasure to the ways of peace, brings them out of darkness and into light by His Will, and guides them to the Straight Path.

And Allaah Himself undertook the responsibility of preserving this book, “It is certainly We Who have revealed the Reminder, and it is certainly We Who will preserve it,” but He entrusted the responsibility of its explanation to His trustworthy Messenger [al-Ameen], Muhammad ﷺ: “And We have sent down to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Reminder, so that you may explain to people what has been revealed for them …”” [16:44]
